What we do most
Roofing, start to finish
Complete roof systems from tear-off to final cleanup, under a single contract. Asphalt, metal and low-slope membrane on residential, agricultural and commercial buildings.
Roof replacement
Most requestedFull tear-off, deck inspection, ice-and-water shield, new flashing and ridge vent. We haul the old roof away and sweep the yard with a magnet before we leave.
Repairs & leaks
A stain on the ceiling is rarely where the water gets in. We find the actual source — flashing, valley, vent boot, ice backup — and fix that, not just the drywall.
Ice dams & storm damage
Winter damage is a Berkshire specialty. Ice-dam repair, blown-off shingles, tree strikes, and we will meet your insurance adjuster on the roof.

Roofing is our largest single trade, but CMV is a full construction company with employees, equipment and general contracting capability. We frame additions, build garages and new homes, and carry out complete renovations of multifamily and commercial buildings.

How we work
Most disputes between an owner and a contractor come down to scope, price or schedule. Each is addressed in writing before work begins.
A real written scope
You get a line-by-line estimate that says exactly what is included and what is not. If something is not in it, it is not in the price — and we tell you that up front instead of after.
A price that holds
We price off measurements, not guesses. If we hit something genuinely hidden — rotted sheathing under old shingles, say — you get a written change order and approve it before we spend your money. Financing is available on qualifying projects — ask when we quote.
A crew that shows up
You will know who is coming and when. If weather moves us, you hear it from us that morning, not from an empty driveway.
How it goes
Our process
You call or send the form
Tell us what is going on — a leak, a whole roof, a building you are thinking about. We will ask a few questions and set a time to come look.
We come out and measure
Not a windshield estimate. We get on the roof or into the crawlspace, take real dimensions, and photograph what we find so you can see it too.
You get a written estimate
Line by line: scope, materials, price, and how long it takes. We will walk you through it and answer whatever you want to ask before you sign anything.
We build it and clean up
We pull the permit if the job needs one, keep the site tidy, sweep for nails, haul the debris, and walk the finished work with you before we invoice.

Case study: a whole building, taken to the frame
The former Adams Community Center — empty, rotting, priced as a teardown — stripped to its structure and rebuilt as thirteen apartments. The whole job is documented on our project page.
